우리를 구할 수 있는 것은 우리 자신 밖에 없다. 
누구도 대신 그렇게 해 줄 수 없다. 
우리 스스로 길을 가야 한다.

No one saves us but ourselves. 
No one can and no one may. 
We ourselves must walk the path.

내 존재의 의미는 나의 삶이 나에게 던지는 질문에 있다. “나는 누구인가?”라는 물음에 스스로 답하지 않으면 세상의 반응에만 의존하게 될 것이다.

인간은 늘 보고 싶은 대로 세상을 봐 왔다.
Humans have always seen the world as they want to see it.

이것이 우리가 지상에서 알고 있는 전부이고, 우리가 알아야만 할 모든 것이다.
